Aboriginal communities outreach at Festival Manitou
From 14 to 16 July 2017, two volunteers from Wikimedia Canada held a stand during the Manitou Festival at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. This festival gathered 11 First Nations from Quebec. Other than the Atikamekw that the Wikipedia has been created the month before, outreach has been done with the Cree and Innu First Nations. Beside, the Wikipeida in innu-aimun language has been created during the event and three pages has been created by a new contributor. Articles on the French Wikipedia about indigenous personalities from Quebec have been improved. Pictures of indigenous personalities have been taken and uploaded to Wikimedia Commons to illustrate Wikipedia.
