D: Small community events
edit$5,000 for events that reach small groups of up to 20 people for engaging the Wikimedia Community; they are intended to make the organization more agile and able to organize ad-hoc events where interest and volunteers materialize. They would be community-based gatherings with small expenses for rental, swag/brochures, refreshments and other small sundry items. Essentially, this an ad-hoc event support fund. These small community events are allocated at the discretion of Alan Walker and Benoit Rochon (Canada-wide).
