The Wiki Account Creation process addresses the steps and technical component from the point where a visitor chooses to create an account ending where they have been validated as a Wiki user.
Overview edit
- Visitor selects create an account
- Visitor is required to select a username, password and contact email
- Email is sent to validate the email address
- Visitor receives a validated account
Requirements edit
- Unique username
- Password that meets strength requirements
- Email address to receive email and click validation link
- Ability to successfully validate captcha
Areas for review edit
